Headin for Wisconsin!

So the bags are somewhat packed, the leo and warm-up is hung, the hair bows have been made, the truck has been cleaned, and will be washed tomorrow and then its time to decorate the windows. We are heading to WI for Abbie's Gymnastics Nationals in Sheboygan, WI. We are leaving on Sunday but she doesnt really start the meet til Wed afternoon. There will be over 98 teams competing, totaling over 1300 girls. Should be quite the sight. Our first trip will be going east on I-80 to I-35 North and then over east on Hwy 20 to Sauk City. We will be staying there on Sunday night and Monday night. Monday we will go to house on the rock, and stop at a cheese factory. Tues morning we will head to Port Washington which is north of Milwaukee to stay. Tuesday we will probably hit the beach do some sight seeing and such. I think we might hit the zoo that day in Milwaukee. Wednesday we will be heading north to Sheboygan for Abbie's opening ceremonies. They will do a massive marchin which im sure will be quite an ordeal. They will be trimmed in their warmups, little "N" tattoos on their cheeks for Nebraska and their hair bows (that I personally made). Its a huge carnival type affair, cotton candy, snow cones, brats, games, blowups you name it. With 1300 girls and their families im sure its going to be total chaos. Thursday we will need to find something "quiet" to do since Abbie competes in the evening at 5:15 so we need to preserve her energy. Friday morning we will then head to Wasserbaun waterpark in Amana Colonies, IA for a night stay. Saturday am we will head back towards home with a stop at Living History Farms in Des Moines and will be back home sometime Saturday evening.

Travel will be quite a chore with all the flooding that has been going on in IA and WI so we will be taking alot of detours and back roads I am assuming.

I will post soon with photos and info about Abbies meet. Wish her luck!!
